bittersweet goodbye.

One thing that doesn’t change from infancy to adulthood, is the need to be held. Sometimes, my daughter will be fussing; she’s clean, she’s fed, she’s rested, and then I realize she just wants that skin-to-skin, evelope of love and comfort. Of course, I am delighted to oblige.
